A few weeks ago, Vervint participated in GR Tech Week here in our hometown of Grand Rapids. It was a great opportunity to engage with the broader tech community, share experiences, and host members of the academic and business communities in our HQ.
This event also gave us a platform to showcase one of the most exciting aspects of our internal transformation this year: how Vervint is growing its AI expertise as a core element across all our practices. In the coming weeks, we will share more of what we have learned through this new blog series highlighting how AI is reshaping the way we work, design, and deliver outcomes for our clients.
Vervint’s Transformation
Vervint is in the midst of a major transformation that centers on how we bring thought leadership to our clients as a trusted partner. We have fully embraced AI to augment our capabilities across every practice, including experience design, application development, platforms, data, and managed services.
Our mandate is simple: AI in Everything. We are not treating AI as a standalone tool or passing trend, but as a fundamental part of how we deliver quality, speed, and value. AI is not replacing what we do; it is enhancing how we do it.
The AI-Fueled Market Inflection
As Vervint evolves, the broader technology market is also in a major inflection point. AI is fundamentally changing how we work.
However, AI will not replace humans, and it will not magically fix every business problem. Poor processes and bad data still require human leadership and intentional design. What AI provides is leverage: the ability to multiply human capability and accelerate results.
We call this the Human-AI Partnership Model (HAIP). It is a framework that keeps people involved at every stage of product development. The name plays on the word hype, because real value comes from moving past it and building systems where humans and AI each contribute their strengths.
In the future, clients will not only look for smart people or billable hours. They will expect this human-AI partnership as the new standard.
The Human-AI Partnership in Action
In this blog series, we will unpack the Human-AI Partnership Model through real examples. Each story will highlight the design thinking, product strategy, and technical execution that bring the model to life. Every post will be authored by a Vervint team member who played a key role in the work and will share their perspective on challenges, insights, and results.
The Case Study: Building a Digital Product with HAIP
To begin, we will share an internal case study that focuses on a new staffing and resource management dashboard we developed to give our leadership real-time visibility into utilization and forecasting.
As a consultancy, effective resource management is critical. Our leaders need to understand who is working on what, how long assignments take, and what projects are coming next. Building this product gave us a chance to apply our AI in Everything approach across the entire lifecycle, including design, development, data modeling, and platform deployment.
The Approach: Design, Build, and Run with AI at Every Step
Throughout this series, we will show how we used AI in every step of our process:
- Design: using AI to accelerate ideation and UX workflows
- Build: augmenting developers with AI-assisted coding and testing
- Data: shaping intelligent models for decision support
- Run: applying AI to drive continuous improvement, performance and security
This is only the beginning of what we call our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG). Our goal is to innovate across the lifecycle of our clients’ products and services, delivering better outcomes with greater accuracy, speed, and predictability.
Coming Next: The Human-AI Partnership Model
Whether you are interested in how we are applying AI in managed services, refining data strategies, or designing for human-centered outcomes, this series will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the thinking and teamwork that drive Vervint’s transformation.
Stay tuned for next week’s post from Oliver, who will take a deep dive into the Human-AI Partnership Model. Follow along as we build a reference library to help clients and teams explore what is possible when humans and AI work together.
